How I got into video games

Heyo, great viewers of my blog. Today I'd like to talk about what got me into video games. I will tell you the story on how I did so. And, also why don't you tell me how you got into the gaming spirit in the comments.

It was a warm afternoon in December. I was at home with my       babysitter watching Mickey Mouse when my Mom came home with a     suspicious but huge box in her arms. She said to my babysitter,   Saul that she got it from Craigslist. It was a Wii console. I     didn't know it at the time but this was about to be the           consumer light of my life.

It came with Wii Sports, A pretty simple game that consists of,   you guest it, sports. I became addicted to this game and got     many others such as Donkey Kong:Country Returns, Which           infuriated me and Saul for it's difficulty.

After a while I got my first handheld console, the DSi, for       Christmas. I liked for a while until I wanted the next           generation console, the 3DS. Fortunately my friend gave me his   old one.

Retro Game Top 5

Good morning, blog viewers. Today I'd like to be talking about Retro game nostalgia. What I'm aiming for is to find out if you're annoyed with people that say that 1980's-90's consoles, such as the NES {Nintendo Entertainment System} are good, when really aren't. The only reason people like them is for, what I said earlier, the nostalgia. And they are, or should I say were, good consoles because of their market success. So just to prove that they aren't good consoles now days. I'm going to do a top 5. Enjoy!

5. Atari 2600
Most people might say this 1977 home console was horrible because it followed     the Crash of 1983 and that it included the worst video game of all, E.T. The     Extraterrestrial in 1982. But it was the bestselling console of it's time so     theirs t

                                                                            4. NES
After Nintendo's success with the Family Computer {or Famicom} in Japan, they decided to bring their mainstream success to America. They decided to modify their console and rename the console. In June, 1985, at the Consumer Electronics Show, They introduced the NES. It was a huge market success.

                                                                 3. Sega Genesis
In 1989, after the NES's stake holding for nearly 5 years, A new game company, Sega took over the throne with their new home game console, Genesis. They also revealed the beloved game character, Sonic the Hedgehog. The console had few good years, but then, during their battle with Nintendo's SNES {Super Nintendo Entertainment System} they released 3 add-ons for the console that were very bad
 .

                      2. Sony PlayStation
Nintendo asked Sony to make a CD-ROM add-on for their SNES. Sony accepted this deal hoping to get a huge chunk of Nintendo's market share. However, they stated making a game console. When Nintendo found out about Sony's double-crossing. They subsided the deal and went to Phillips. Foul play. So then Sony was going to abandon the project when they decided to finish and sell the console as the PlayStation. They also released some of the first explicit title such as Grand Theft Auto and Metal of Honer.

                          1. Nintendo 64
This 1996 home console sold in many countries around the world. Since Nintendo      couldn't get Sony or Phillips to make a CD add-on for their successful SNES,    they decided to stick with the cartridge. Doing so was a big success with making this console. The console also introduced 4-player local play and rumbles.

Shopping Cart Hero Review

Shopping Cart Hero is an online game that I enjoy fairly. It starts out with you, a stick man with a shopping cart that builds up momentum as he goes down a hill and performs a jump. You balance him in a straight position until he hits the ground. Then you get points via the height and distance you traveled. Depending on how much money you have, you can modify you and your cart. The game gets better later on, for instance if you get a baseball bat and press space just before you hit the ground and a bi-plane picks you up. Destroy him by swatting corn at him a few times and you unlock another world.

Tomodachi Life Review

Have you guys heard of a game called Tomodachi Life? It's a Life Sim game for the 3DS were you create Miis or transfer them from the Mii Channel on your Wii U {Only if you have one which I don't}. But now a new feature was added to the Mii creation process. Now you can make your Mii a voice via a mediocre voice simulator. You can also make your Mii have a personality. Then they move into an apartment. Some people say it's like Animal Crossing, but it really isn't. In animal crossing you actually play as someone. In Tomodachi Life you're an observer of your Miis' behaviors, actions, and lives in general.

Your Mii will frequently ask of your assistance because just mean,manipulative, sociopaths. So the only logical explanation would be to go to stores that open after completing certain achievements {but pretty much every store you need opens in the first 15 minutes of gameplay}
.When your Miis get stuff they want and they like them they get a little level boost and some more money. Once a Mii levels up you can do 1 of 5 things:
1.give him/her a song
2. give him/her an interior for their apartment,
3. give him/her one of many gifts,
4. give him/her a catchphrase.
5. is money but I'd consider that a last resort.

A concert hall opens when your Mii gets to sing a song. Your Mii can sing multiple genres of sons and you can even change the lyrics to make it very, very, immature.
Romance happens without warning on your island. After two Miis of the opposite genders hang out for a while, one of the Miis involved in the relationship will confess his/her love. Then they ask of the other Miis pleasure to be her sweetheart{boyfriend/girlfriend}.

After that they spend more time with each other until you see the friendship rating with one another reaches "Let's Get Married!". Then one Mii will propose to the other, and may get married. After a while they have a baby!

You can name him/her what you want or they name the baby themselves. After a few days they grow up and you get a cute line of credits and a video of your kid playing in the park. You have the choice of sending them of to explore other peoples islands or move
into an apartment on your island.

Effing Worms Review

I want to talk now about a Internet game called Effing Worms. It's a game where you destroy stuff as a giant man-eating worm who you can customize after every level. In the end your worm will either become small, sleek, and fast or become giant, slow, but epic. You don't have to customize it, but I highly recommend doing so. After fully customizing your worm, you can play in a never ending sandbox mode where you can grow and grow until you die. Then you have to start at the size you started with. Bummer.

Happy Wheels Review

I've been playing a game called Happy Wheels for a while now and I thought that now that I have a blog, I would tell you guys about it. I'm pretty sure most of you guys reading this have heard of the game before. But I just wanted to tell you my opinion. Basically it's a game created a while back on Totaljerkface.com that was widely known. You can play a wide variety of levels posted daily or you can even make your own. You need to have an account though. I started playing the game when I was in third grade and liked it very much. FYI there is some gore and since the levels are posted by users, there is some discretion in speech. But overall I found it an ideal game for humor.

Driver Review

If your a fan of Driver, please do tell me. Iv'e only played 1 game; Driver: San Francisco, and I liked it. Since the map in this game consists of more than one city, and their is a lot of scenery content, there's got to be some glitches and bugs. For example, if your a cop and your chasing a getaway, sometimes if you ram it into a wall or boundary, it will fall through the map. There were a couple more glitches I found while playing with my friends, but I can't remember what they were. Se you later!
What do you think about Link the Faces of Evil for the Phillips CDi?
