Retro Game Top 5

Good morning, blog viewers. Today I'd like to be talking about Retro game nostalgia. What I'm aiming for is to find out if you're annoyed with people that say that 1980's-90's consoles, such as the NES {Nintendo Entertainment System} are good, when really aren't. The only reason people like them is for, what I said earlier, the nostalgia. And they are, or should I say were, good consoles because of their market success. So just to prove that they aren't good consoles now days. I'm going to do a top 5. Enjoy! 





5. Atari 2600
     Most people might say this 1977 home console was horrible because it followed     the Crash of 1983 and that it included the worst video game of all, E.T. The     Extraterrestrial in 1982. But it was the bestselling console of it's time so     theirs t






                                                                            4. NES                          
 After Nintendo's success with the Family Computer {or Famicom} in Japan, they decided to bring their mainstream success to America. They decided to modify their console and rename the console. In June, 1985, at the Consumer Electronics Show, They introduced the NES. It was a huge market success.






                                                                 3. Sega Genesis
  In 1989, after the NES's stake holding for nearly 5 years, A new game company, Sega took over the throne with their new home game console, Genesis. They also revealed the beloved game character, Sonic the Hedgehog. The console had few good years,but then, during their battle with Nintendo's SNES {Super Nintendo Entertainment System} they released 3 add-ons for the console that were very bad
 .






                      2. Sony PlayStation
  Nintendo asked Sony to make a CD-ROM add-on for their SNES. Sony accepted this deal hoping to get a huge chunk of Nintendo's market share. However, they stated making a game console. When Nintendo found out about Sony's double-crossing. They subsided the deal and went to Phillips. Foul play. So then Sony was going to abandon the project when they decided to finish and sell the console as the PlayStation. They also released some of the first explicit title such as Grand Theft Auto and Metal of Honer.   





                          1. Nintendo 64
  This 1996 home console sold in many countries around the world. Since Nintendo      couldn't get Sony or Phillips to make a CD add-on for their successful SNES,    they decided to stick with the cartridge. Doing so was a big success with making this console. The console also introduced 4-player local play and rumbles.
